Local Bird Guide: Birds of Todos Santos Bay and the Punta Banda Estuary

Thanks to the collaboration of multiple conservation organizations including two of our member organizations (Pro Esteros and Generation Green), a beautifully illustrated, easy to use, and durable bird guide is available for identifying 109 of the most commonly observed bird species on the Punta Banda peninsula.

Printed in both English and Spanish, the guide’s laminated pages ensure durability, even during misty mornings or tramping down dusty trails. Slip it into your backpack or pocket, and you’re ready for your next birding adventure.

Each bird is beautifully illustrated, capturing its unique features, colors, and markings. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced birder, these visuals enhance your identification skills.

We encourage folks with vacation rentals to include these guides for use by their guests, to enhance visitor’s enjoyment of the area and cultivate appreciation of the local wildlife.

The Local Bird Guide is usually available at the Whatever Market in Cantu on Fridays and Saturdays. Copies can also be obtained by contacting El Berryman via phone, text, or WhatsApp at 1-530-798-1945.

A 100-peso donation is requested but not required, for the purpose of supporting future Pro Esteros outreach efforts.
