BioBlitz is a citizen science effort that seeks to record as many wildlife species as possible over a period of time. This year the Border BioBlitz will be throughout the month of May.

BioBlitz - Ensenada
On May 5, we will walk the Punta Banda sandy spit trail to record and photograph the flora and fauna that lives in the Punta Banda estuary, inside the Antonio Perisky Ecological Reserve.
Participation is free.
The activity will be led by:
○ Dr. Mariana Delgado, expert in flora and leader of Botanical Expeditions
○ Dr. Hiram Moreno, expert in birds and the biodiversity of the sandy spit of Punta Banda
○ Dr. Natalia Rodríguez, expert in insects and dune ecology

2. Send a WhatsApp to Mariana at +52 664 374 42 32 so that she can include you in the WhatsApp group where she will be giving instructions to participate in the BioBlitz.
Prior to the event it is necessary to:
1. Create an iNaturalist/Naturalista account oniNaturalist.org
Download the iNatualist app (free for Android and iOS)
2. Join the BioBlitz de la Frontera 2024 project from iNaturalist (you can ask me via WhatsApp how to do this step if you have questions)
