Todos Somos Mandeadero reports hazards of waste discharge to government officials

In a May 2 meeting with government officials, the local group Todos Somos Maneaderos and other residents reported an increase in discharges of contaminated water in Maneadero, Baja California. They pointed out that these discharges impact the quality of life in the area, affecting both the ecosystem and the community. Specific concerns include the potential contamination of groundwater sources and the risk posed to marine species. Efforts are being made to address this issue and prevent further damage to the environment and the population in Maneadero.
Todos Somos Maneaderos was created with the sole intention of helping citizens in promoting, organizing and demanding the repair of the sewage treatment plants, in order to avoid the contamination of soils, sea and above all the affectation of the health of each of the residents.
